The index used includes Album Sales, Single Sales, YouTube Streams, Social Media Followers, Tour Gross, and Acclaim. I decided not to include Radio Airplay because it will make the ranking “LOCAL” since we don’t have reliable receipts to measure worldwide airplay stats. Besides radio is becoming a non-factor these days and with this, we can eliminate the radio payola factor.
