I know a lot of people who read the Chicago Tribune (namely people from the Chicago area tho). They base a lot of their purchases from them. My aunt and uncle, for example, always use them to make their decisions on what albums and movies they want. Considering they both love jazz, I wonder if they will buy the album themselves?

Slay!
I'm really looking forward to the New York Times review, considering Gaga and Tony are both NY natives. Betta be 100!
It's so funny how there are similarities between the professional jazz critics' reviews and positive reviews regarding this album. I guess they are not pressured by the media or blinded by their stanning so they write professionaly constructed reviews based on the material and material alone. Interesting
That Chicago Tribune review is seriously one of the best album reviews I've ever read He actually seemed to dislike Gaga to an extent (at least her "antics"), but looked at this album completely subjectively and loved it.
All other reviewers should take note.
I know right? Also note how the positive reviews are coming from publications that assign actual jazz critics to review the album since they know what the **** they're talking about.
I hope the acclaim continues, that bias mess that is the Slant interview made everyone assume it would be panned by everyone.
This is an album that most of the sources that Metacritic counts won't review. I'd be surprised if this pass ten reviews (in metacritic).
The reviews will come mostly from newspapers and magazines that donīt specialize in music. The sites that matter won't touch the album 'cause it's irrelevant.
I just heard the album, and wow the Slant Review was so wrong. Her voices sounds so pleasant on it. Lush Life sounds beautiful. 7/10 upon first impression.
The worst part of the album was the doo-ah, doo-ah, doo-ah, ...(Tony Gaga

Use ad block if you wanna read the Chicago Tribune review. I don't want to get sued for copyright infringement by bypassing the log in screen and pasting it here.

I am using ad block and using Hola so my location is from USA, but it still won't let me.
