Literally all DAWs can work.
Are you gonna be live tracking instruments? I'd recommend Pro Tools.
Digital instruments? If you have a PC get FL and if you have a mac get Logic.
The trifecta in the modern industry is Pro Tools > FL = Logic, with Reason and Ableton coming in 4th and 5th.
