Yeah, T.I.'s always seen her as an investment. She's good marketing. A tall, 6 foot girl from Australia who looks like a model, dresses in very high fashion but raps like a straight up G. If anything she's like the reverse Nicki Minaj who was black, dressing up like a Barbie in colourful over-the-top costumes and was doing cockney accents. It works on paper. It's marketable. It's sellable. And he's selling it well. But when you get down to the crux of it - the raw talent simply isn't there with Iggy.
T.I. wants to be richer and have more of a legacy as he gets older and he's going out and finding himself artists who can make him a lot of money. He wants Iggy to be his Rihanna to Jay Z.
I just think it's sad that there's so many black girls out there who can rap, who might be a bit overweight or not that attractive, who aren't getting record contracts because of the way they look, despite being incredibly talented. We need more Missy Elliots. That's why PTAF excite me.
Iggy just seems manufactured by T.I. and the GP are eating it up.
