The major problem of Hilary is the few radio support, the new label have to do something about that, a deal with the radio, payola... I dont know..... I miss her so bad
PS. Someone knows how her singles did in the radio? (The Max audiende that they had)

The biggest problem with radio is that Hilary was active before radio became friendly towards former Disney artists. Hilary had great support with So Yesterday (#15 on pop) and Come Clean (#9 on pop), and was on her way to having a successful radio career. Our Lips Are Sealed really destroyed her reputation because, to radio, that is when it was basically proven that she was still a Disney star only being used to make cash. They didn't support that single.
Fly had an uphill battle trying to overcome that stigma, but it peaked at #29, simply because a lot of programmers weren't feeling the sudden shifts in her music from pop-friendly songs, to a duet with her sister to try to launch her, to a more dark song. It didn't seem natural or authentic. After, she was simply gone from radio for too long. Wake Up went for adds nearly a year after Fly, With Love over a year and a half, and Stranger didn't even go for adds.
There was no consistency whatsoever.
The second problem with radio is Hilary was simply too ahead of the times with With Love. Rap & Hip Hop were the hit genres of the time, what was with this white girl trying to do dance? Radio wasn't here for dance because it wasn't the it genre. Had Gypsy Woman been released after with adds that may have been a success because it leaned more towards what was popular.
I hate to say it, but the queen taking advantage of what's in right now may be her best chance at success. Radio is now open to playing ex Disney acts and dance is popular. The best thing she has going for her right now is the amount of time that has passed. If she takes another risk... I can't even.
