The #54 album belongs to one of the most unexpected successes of this year! Ms. Carly Rae Jepsen and her "Kiss" album! Despite being quitely criticized for looking so young for her age, her voice and the music is perfect for the demographic that she and her label is targetting unto! Well, I enjoyed listening this album because of the super catchy quirky beats and song structures but once again, not the type of album that I play regularly. However, I can say that the production is great!

This is one of the songs that I discovered much late this year! Actually, when it was already getting popular and was being appeared on the countdowns here. Well, the instrumental/backing track already caught my attention which reminded me of a Green Day track and then it grew on me especially its sing-along chorus and the Glee version of the song, is great as well, Overall, impressive introductory single from the band!

Well, it was mainly due to being one of the songs that was cut of the deadline date of the Best of during the last week of November! I learned to love this song more and more, with its accompanying video. Not my favorite Katy single, but I consider it as one of her most honest and quite underrated! It definitely deserved its success on the charts.

Why must everything Cassie related nowadays flop? Uggh, even it happened, this collaboration still keeps me on jamming! My favorite parts are all of Cassie's especially "Money on Love" hook and the mellow chorus and Nicki's fast rap at the end. I think this colorful video to the song is the best this era! Actually, this makes it to Nicki's highest peaking song on the countdown!

And now, as a force in the music industry, I simply adore her after going through divorce with ex husband Russel Brand, and now having John Mayer as her current love. Oh well, she had still back to back hits with "Part of Me" (#1) and "Wide Awake" (#2) this year! and she will continue to slay next year as well, I just know it!
