The actual concert or the pieces we have had a chance to witness, leave me in utter amazement at what vision Adam is pulling together here.
His clear reverence to Bowie, blue suit in the beginning, flash on back, fame, the dance style, the whole bight color 80's vibe with big hair and broad shoulders and wavy feel and storytelling by using the various musical influences of the 80s and interpreting that whole style in a modern and uniquely and meaningful way, Adam's way. His concert is one that sends you home not only with imagery and music in your ears, but with a message, be it personal or political or cultural. He knows how to balance fun and seriousness, he firmly plants himself visually and sonically where he wants to be and takes us all along for the journey.
He had this vision all along. It must have been with him all the way through the creation of the songs on his Trespassing album, it shows in the selection of style and material and he is now bringing it to life in what surely will be his next tour.
