KRL, do you remember last year when I thought Alejandro's sales suffered from the poor, chorus-less 30 seconds the iTunes preview offered? In Y+I's case, I think it's the opposite.

Yeah the preview is good but I don't think it matters much because people hear the song on the radio before anyway

No one I know listens to the radio. Those crazy AI's baffle me. Who are those hundreds of millions of people? I think a good iTunes preview matters when it comes to convincing consumers to click "buy."

They aren't unique listeners. Someone who has the radio on in the car driving everywhere would get counted as a listener for each song they hear, and if they hear a song ten times a day, they get counted ten times, etc. etc.

I listen to the radio at work, only because were not allowed our ipods. I find myself changing the station frequently as yes, they do play the same 5 songs over and over again, which at the moment is Party Rock Anthem and Last Friday Night. I'll even just turn it off after an hour of switching stations and finding nothing good on.

I stopped listening to the radio because of most of the garbage on it. (I.E. Katy Perry + Pitbull ) It's not all garbage, of course not, but it's just annoying with commercials and then hearing the same songs you don't like over and over again and it's just a hassle tbh.
