I would die for a Loud re-release, I think it can outsell GGGB tbh. After Man Down, CKB and Cheers I'd like one really bad! Something to tide us over since she's on tour for the rest of the year. Or she could do a greatest hits with new tracks but I'm not really here for that as much as a re-release.
Someone said something about the Loud re-release. Id be ok with them doing that if Loud sells 2 mill on its own. I want them to let Loud breathe.
I wouldn't mind if they did Man Down now, California King Bed after, then Cheers late summer and then re-release winter 2011. Then if its sold 2 mill by then, it could do 3 mill with a re-release.
Why only counting the US? They're not the only ones that matter, globally the record has sold over 4 million now and that's great. It's selling strongly on its own but when it's squeezed out, a re-release could definitely push it over GGGB territory.

I'm saying I trust that Rih can sell 2 Mill of Loud in the US without a re-release, and I dont think the label believes that.

The label doesnt believe that? Then why are they investing money in Man Down, CKB and most likely Cheers? lol. Rihanna has already semi-confirmed that Cheers will be a single.

I'm saying it depends on when they are gonna do the re-release, if they're gonna do it at all.
If they do a re-release September or October they obviously dont think its going to go double platinum. But if they do a re-release late in 2011 or not at all they either will be satisfied with 2x platinum or pushing for 3x platinum.

No, If they re-released in October that would most likely mean that Rihanna would have time to promote the single (Sept) before she heads to her brutal schedule overseas in touring. where she has NO time for promotion in the United States.
If the label re-releases 4th quarter that would most likely mean that the album will sell itself because of Christmas/holiday shopping , because she'd have time for very limited promotion.
