I personally prefer albums that try to have a balance. If there are too many upbeat tracks, then the album can get old fast. If there are too many ballads or mid-tempos, then it could sound like filler. There is also the possibility of everything sounding too similar regardless of the tempo. It just depends though on if the songs are good.

I also think GFY exceeded anyone's predictions. Her messy decisions, video etc, lead me to believe they were just testing the waters and SOL is going to be the big bang hopefully (or what they wish compared to GFY).
