Media. And I have less than 50% popularity in most locations but I choose heavy promotion. I get the money to do that from touring.

LEO!
Pipe Dream
After blowing the world away with his country-influenced debut album, Small Beginnings, Leonardo wanted to try on a different sound. Calling on the likes of Max Martin, he was able to come up with an original adult contemporary sounding masterpiece that was hailed by many critics as a brilliant record. During this time, Leo also broke a record previously held by both Michael Jackson and Katy Perry. Six singles from Pipe Dream went straight to number one on the Hot 100, including the 13-week smash Nevermore. His soft, guitar-like sophomore effort, however, only managed to pull 1.5 million copies; 300 thousand less than his previous album.

LEO!
Electrifly
Tired of taking himself too seriously as an artist with his last two albums, Leonardo decided that he wanted to make a fun pop record. The twenty-six year old called up his old friend Dr. Luke to help him with production, and the result was exactly what this Buzz Award winner wanted. Many began to see Leonardo as a free-spirited and "fun" person after the release of Electrifly. He repeated his old feature of having six consecutive #1's from the same album, and went on to outsell his first two albums combined after dishing out an impressive 3.8 million copies.

LEO!
Into the Deep
At twenty-eight years of age, Leonardo had created quite a dilemma for himself. His previous album, Electrifly, convinced the world all too well that he was just another young and innocent "pop" boy with no edge. Desperate to break out of his "goody-goody" shell, Leo aimed for a more urban-sounding record, which proved to be a failed investment as the album was critically panned. He also began to deeply explore the field of sex, which brought the hits Let's Do It and Harder. In terms of sales, however, his other four singles were commercial failures compared to his previous work, and Leonardo continued to receive public backlash for his overly-sexual image and music videos. However, the album did manage to outsell Electrifly and has amassed 4.4 million copies to date.

Pedro is finally ending his 2-year-long debut era in October, and in the same month he will kick off his brief Christmas album era.
I always lose money on releases, it's a bit annoying. Sure, I make up for it with those tour tickets, but still.

Pedro's Christmas album, For That Night, sold 1.6M in about two months, thus being the 10th best-selling album worldwide of all time.
I will post stats of these two eras soon. He has already entered the studio with Ariel Rechtshaid to record his sophomore opus.

I usually release an album every 2 years so I can get 6 singles per era, which means more records sold. But does releasing a new album negatively affect the sales of your previous album?

Once I break the Beatles' record for most #1's, I'll post all my #1's and their weeks atop the chart.

If you want to join the current event, it's all set in the database created by Luke. You won't have to do anything.

In the game editor, which is on the first page of the game. Select "record labels" and create a new one. Then go ahead and create a new act/artist using a max of 850 pts. and put them on that record label.

I release 3 singles per album, only Lana's last era had more than 3 singles.
I don't know with yearly releases you sell less albums or not.
