We can be the Bonnie and the Clyde of a new day
We can be a Johnny and a June if you want me boy
But I’m over here in the corner, boy
Dreaming about us together
If you wanna go to heaven I'll take ya
If you wanna get a little hot, I’m on fire boy
But I’m over here in the corner, boy
Dreaming about us together
Why you…
You dance with everyone but
You don’t even know
It’s me that you should hold
Yeah, you
You dance with everyone but
They can all go home
Cause I want you alone
with me
Me, with me,
I want you alone with me
Me, with me,
I want you alone with…
I could be a diamond in the rough, come and find it
You could be a Jekyll or a Hyde I can take you boy
But I’m over here in the corner, boy
Feels like I’ve waited forever
If you ever wanted someone to know ya
I could be the only one who knows how to get you, boy
But I’m over here in the corner, boy
Feels like I’ve waited forever
Why you…
You dance with everyone but
You don’t even know
It’s me that you should hold
Yeah, you
You dance with everyone but
They can all go home
Cause I want you alone
with me
Me, with me,
I want you alone with me
Me, with me,
I want you alone with…
Yeah, we can be living large
I'll take you up to the stars
So why are we still apart?
Yeah, we can be living large
I'll take you up to the stars
So why are we still apart?
If you ever want someone to know ya
I could be the only one who knows how to get you, boy
Yeah, I want you alone,
Yeah, I want you alone
with me
Me, with me,
I want you alone with me
Me, with me,
I want you alone with me
Yeah, we can be living large
I'll take you up to the stars
So are we still apart?
I want you alone with me
Yeah, we can be living large
I'll take you up to the stars
So why are we still apart?
I want you alone with me
Welcome castaways to your 16th Results Show! You will get to see ranks for the first three images tonight. The remaining three will be revealed in about 24 hours.
As you all know, the castaway with the lowest cumulative average after all 6 image ranks are posted will be eliminated from the game. Your average will be displayed each image along with a cumulative average as I get into the other images. You will see an "In The Lead" and an "In Danger" section which will denote which castaway is on track for immunity based off their average and which castaway is in danger of elimination based upon their average.

I chose "Tired" by Kelly Price because it's about a woman who's grown tired of her relationship. She's unhappy with her husband, fed up with his lies and excuses, tired of the restless nights he's caused her, and tired of giving her all and getting nothing in return.
2. prézli
Picture #1
In the picture, there are a couple lying in the bed. He's sleeping, but she's awake and looking frustrated.
Kylie Minogue's "Sleeping with the Enemy" is about being exposed. In the song, he's muttering about an affair in his sleep and she hears his words that hurt her: "You've been saying crazy things, yeah, as it all unfolds I get a clear view of what you've been doing to me." When he's awake he says he was faithful to her: "You've been lying through your teeth and it makes me want to scream." Love turns into hate in a few minutes that tops in the chorus part: "You're like a stranger in my bed, suddenly now it seems I'm sleeping with the enemy." She's getting confused and asking random questions of the other woman: "Does she make you feel at home? Was it not enough that I love you?" Her frustration comes through the instrumentation of the track and can also be heard in her voice.

Picture 1: Example - Anything
"I used to sleep like a baby now I lay awake at night thinking 'bout my lady maybe
I should take her by, maybe I should take a punch, maybe I should cancel all my flights
take a right turn, left is just the place to run from my demons."
When I look at the picture, I see a relationship which is going through a rough patch. They're lying in the same bed but they have become distant. She's lying awake at night wondering where they went wrong. Maybe there is something they could have done; something she can do now.
Over a simple heartfelt melody and drum beat, Elliot captures this delicate tension, where you internalize all your fears and uncertainties and lie awake at nights calculating your moves and chances. You cant know what the other person is thinking, your heart feels blocked; and in this overwhelming silence, your mind won't let you go to sleep.
It would be so simple if you could just turn around and say it all out loud to the person lying next to you in bed."

1. Mary MacGregor - Torn Between Two Lovers
"There's been another man that I've needed and I've loved,
But that doesn't mean I love you less,
And he knows he can't possess me, and he knows he never will,
There's just this empty place inside of me that only he can fill."
This song is about a woman who currently is dating a man, but her needs aren't completely fulfilled, however another man of interest in her life fulfills them. Even though she loves the guy she's currently not with, she's still in love with her current partner. "Torn between two lovers, feeling like a fool. Loving both of you is breaking all the rules."

Meaning: When I saw this picture, I thought of the end of a relationship. In the woman's face, you can see her sadness that she's shielding away from her man. However, you can tell that she knows that they're over, and she's very sad about this. Also, you can tell that he's slightly unaware of what she knows, meaning there's more to the story (like he cheated, etc.)
Song: So I chose Christina Aguilera's You Lost Me! In this song, I think it perfectly exemplifies my meaning of this picture. Christina is saddened by the impending end of her relationship, due to her man's indiscretion. Not only that, but it's also the fact that they've been slowly distancing themselves apart from one another and lost themselves in the process. She sees that end, and it crushes her, just like that picture.
This picture represents a couple that has rough time in their relationship and they don't want to face it.
The song portrays a couple that, despite being on the same bed. They have distanced from each other.
You all envisioned scenarios of this woman tossing and turning wondering what happened to their once healthy relationship. That's the same route I would have gone as well so it was just a matter of who did this concept best. I felt prezli and thecptz were strongest because their songs actually used the bed depicted to their advantage. URBAN's was next because his song gave off the more frustrated emotion that I see in this picture more so than absolute despair. After him was slimSHADY because his song focused on restlessness. rl's choice was good enough but I feel like You Lost Me is a tear-jerker and her expression doesn't seem THAT broken per se. And finally, I don't get the vibe that both parties know a relationship is in turmoil so that's why wesley was last for this rank.
I interpreted this picture as a woman, unable to sleep because she is contemplating the relationship with the man, who is not as worried or aware of what’s going on with her/the relationship. While all entries were good, I appreciated the slower songs about this theme like rl231’s and the ones actually mentioning a bed like prezli’s—while thecptz’s captured both. To me, the bottom songs seemed like both partners knew the relationship was heading south, which is not how I personally interpreted the picture.
prézli's lyrics and instrumental captured the feeling of this picture best for me, which thecptz came in at a very close second. Great job to both of you! SHADY's entry, I went back and forth on, but ultimately really agreed with his explanation and could see the justification in the picture. rl231's song was good, albeit a bit generic for this picture. The other entries did more. URBAN's was also a decent entry lyric-wise, but the vibe of the track was far too intense for this specific moment of vulnerability. And lastly, wesleywalrus' entry was a bit underwhelming, and while the cheating idea was interesting, I really didn't feel that turmoil and passion in the song that the woman in the picture seems to express.
