I think it's refreshing when artists rework on the arrangement for live performances. Sure, I want to hear the original performed at some point too, especially if the song is a staple and performed often. Acoustic renditions are also very welcome, even for the electronic songs. I wish she had actually released an acoustic version for WFL. Distrubia at AOL Sessions is a prime example how well it can pay off.

Mel Ottenberg did an interview as always he talked about Rihanna. I always thought they were friends but Mel just like "Nope, she's my boss that's it." and he basically said TMT will get the Festival treatment in terms of outfits.. meaning she'll be wearing something new every show. Mel is genius and I love what he's done for Rih's career, but it's obvious to me that they're slowly drifting into different directions; it's about time he left. I doubt there's any bad blood or anything between them. And I'm not surprised that they aren't friends, Mel is a very lowkey guy and really into the super underground art & fashion scene. I think The Monster Tour, if it really is his final project (which I'm kind of hoping for), will have some big fashion moments to look forward to.
I'd love for her to work with Rob and Mariel again, and to enlist the legendary Lysa Cooper for some more projects. Marni Senofonte is great too.
