Seems pretty accruate to me since it only sold 35 - 40K in first 24 hours.

I think she sold quite a bit more than 8k.
I'm just quoting what he said. Could be randomly accurate of course.
Oh my Yeah a 70% over 1.5 years is pretty severe, and it's not like the song is TERRIBLE, it's just kinda disappointing. This definitely signals major, major issues with Ariana as a pop star. Another one bites the dust teas.
LOL when I posted here a couple of days ago that Ariana's single would flop bc of donut-gate and her "I hate America!" comments, ppl thought I was kidding...
My foresight >>
120K is TRAGIC
I don't know why are you suprised with Focus, it was well-known she won't do well
But the fact she might sell less than Selena. Mess
Why are y'all always mentioning Selena? It feels like you are obsessed with her Selena has the 2nd biggest and highest debut of a female. 180k in 2015 is not bad at all.
Yeah, I was bopping until the obnoxious chorus kicked in. Like, hew would greenlit such an atrocity?
I personally feel that Ari should have waited until next year to kick off the era. It's a little too soon after the My Everything era.
Agreed!!
The song is amazing up until that messy chorus kicks in. Anyone who thought it sounded good should get their ears checked. The vidoe is on point, and the song is perfect but that chorus messes the entire thing up. I also agree with you, she should have waited a little longer to release her next era. It feels as if she was never on break. I do understand that they wanted to ride the wave of her momentum though.
Honestly I'm over this single. Hopefully the next one is better.

They simply thought Ariana had more power than Selena. I don't think they were insulting her

Justin's new song is barely being mentioned in here lol, but it deserves a shoutout for maintaining itself so well. He's got himself a third smash hit this year. I could also see it peaking at #2 on the Hot 100 later on in its chart run.
Hotline Bling has been completely and utterly overshadowed.
My Everything wasn't a fluke, it's just she hasn't been away long enough, imo.
I agree with this, I love Ariana, and I'm always happy she releases music but she needed to take a longer break. She's still all over radio thanks to how massive "My Everything" era was (it was an insane hit machine maker). I couldn't believe she was going to release this year. It would be better to expect till next year
