I made the truly stupid mistake of assuming the comprehensive streaming totals given for each song in the article yesterday had accumulated since midnight lol, which if I had even halfway used my brain I would've known getting that many streams in less than 24 hours wasn't humanly possible. My mind just wasn't working right. That's where my confusion arose.

Okay...Spotify has NOT updated the total for Disturbed's "The Sound Of Silence" since Sunday (still stuck at 6,071,965)! However, I am tracking 12 TSOS videos to monitor how quickly the views are increasing.
I will start with the official video compared to its update I posted on Sunday afternoon. That has grown from 6,247,880 to 6,742,792 -- an increase of 494,912 in just a little over two days (and 644,580 in three days)! So here is the list of videos on YouTube for those who want to watch any of the others (I named all of them). I'll update all of the totals again Friday morning, unless I can get a newer Spotify total.....

the singles sales + album sales has kinda saturated the market, and i Think that 25 not being there hurts it a bit.
it's still top 10 though, and it's plummeting more in terms of positions than actual spins.

Oh wow. That is a lot more than I thought.
So Lazarus and Space Oddity might go Top 30 on the Hot 100.
