Does anyone feel like Usher is scared of releasing a new single because he doesn't know what the outcome would be. people have been calling him a has been since his known competition came back to music, He has to be feeling some type of way.
His next album could literally make or break him.
I wonder if he will show up at the red carpet or just skip it like always.
I don't think he's scared he's just being smart about it. Why release a new song if he's not going to have time to promote it? I also think he intended to release something earlier this year but he was sidetracked. I'm pretty sure we still won't have a new single from him next month.
His PR and marketing team should better start putting his accomplishments out there and drumming up publicity for him because it seems the fickle public has forgotten
I don't think the public has forgotten about him in general they just don't know how much he has accomplished because he never brags about it. If he wants to be successful he needs to get a better manager or tell it like it is. The fact that he is still in the studio working on his album means he isn't ready at all.
I don't think he's afraid. I think he's just taking his time. I mean when all of his previous albums released before L4M, there were so many tracks that leaked, so many amazing leftover tracks. I felt like he got his 18-20 tracks and rushed the job because of how well "Climax" did.
I still find it weird how we never got anything else besides "Go Missin'". He said there was another Swedish House Mafia track called "Way to Count" but I never found it. Any of you know about that? Love me some SHM!
Not bragging about his accomplishments has done more harm than good. Thats what his PR and marketing team are for, to exaggerate his accomplishments and keep his name and prestige on people's minds. Not bragging about his accomplishments has made Beyonce and Justin bigger in star power than him. How much do u think they will pay Beyonce, Britney, Justin or even Bruno mars if they decide to do the voice? Exactly.
On a side note Birdman just bought beiber a Bugatti. Do you think that boy is planning on joining ymcmb? Smdh. Usher needs to find another source of income because that disrespectful boy will backstab him so hard he wouldnt know what hit him.

His career is in such a weird place. It's like he's a superstar but he keeps a really low profile. I don't see anything wrong with it tbh, he obviously wants to spend all of his time with his kids I just hope we get one more tour. Some people just want too much from him and we forget he's human.

Any news on when they will release the first photos of "hands of stone" or a trailer?...lol if Usher gets nominated for an Oscar I can imagine how many actors and fans of a certain pop singer will be pissed
Isn't Hands of Stone getting released next year? Maybe it should get released this year if production is finished. I really do think he has it in him to pull off an amazing performance.
