I disagree! The album wasn't even complete when the single was released. It took less than a month before the release of the album to find out the name. Recording for the album wasn't finished till a month before the release as well. Promo was laughable! Britney didn't even leave the state of California to promote the album outside of two Vegas shows till it was time for the tour (months later). Heck, if it wasn't for the GMA special i San Fran, she didn't leave the LA County area to promote. They relied on a few photo shoots and a few radio interviews, along with twitter buzz to market things. Everything about the era was rushed, right from the start. They had no business releasing HIAM in January when they weren't even ready for things to start. Jive just wanted one last go from their cash cows that quarter before they folded.
