I would love for her to do a track with Major Lazer. All My Love and Lean On slay and I can imagine Kesha's vocals really working with it. Also I know I say this a lot but a Calvin Harris track with Kesha vocals would be OUT OF THIS WORLD, I imagine something like Under Control but with her and it sounds so good. I wish she could put vocals on someones track uncredited but I still feel like she could get into a lot of trouble.

How do y'all label your alternate versions? Do you use 2.0, (2nd Version), or just (Alternate Version)?

I've had it without Katy Perry for the majority of the time but I recently added it back in after this discovery.

I never use 2.0. For any alternative versions I just label them as demo (even though the "main" version is technically a demo too).

i.e. for a song that was released on an album - Backstabber (Demo)
for a song that was released on an album and has multiple demos - Blah Blah Blah (Demo 1), Blah Blah Blah (Demo 2)
for a song that is unreleased and has one alternate version - Mouth, Mouth (Demo)
for a song that is unreleased and has more than one alternate version - Butterscotch, Butterscotch (Demo 1), Butterscotch (Demo 2)

My only real exceptions to that are:

1) C U Next Tuesday. I have it listed as "CUNext Tuesday" (released on Animal), "C U Next Tuesday" (released on Cannibal) and "CUNxTuesday (Demo)" (unreleased).

2) Want U Bad. I have it listed as Krazy (Detail f/ Ke$ha) and Want U Bad (Travie McCoy f/ Ke$ha & Detail). Both unreleased.

Well the only one I have are Only Wanna Dance With You (Demo), Dirty Love (ft. Iggy Pop), and Kiss N Tell (Alternative Version)

People will multiple versions of her songs are so extra. Literally the only ones worth having are dirty love, dinosaur and owdwy

Probably. But as far as I know BMI is official and only artists can industry officials can upload/edit information about their own work so I guess it's legit. But it's odd because it's listed as just Kesha too...

I have N-N-N-Neva Baby, Butterscotch, My Best Friend's Boyfriend etc with 2.0/3.0 And songs like Mouth, Boy You're Such A Pretty Lady, Only Wanna Dance With You and etc. as demos. I only use 2.0 if idk which one is the final version.

I only have the Animal Version of CUNxT under a new name. I left the Cannibal version alone because it's the only version that matters

Or maybe Katy and Kesha harmonise really well that it sounded like one voice I wouldn't doubt it if it was a Standing On The Sun situation with Katy's vocals being layered underneath the same way Sia's was layered underneath Beyoncé and you can barely hear her. Kinda like how Kesha does background vocals on Nothing in This World, but you can literally only hear París doing background.

This is what I think has happened. Plus Kesha and Katy's voices could be very similar back in 2008... I still remember thinking (and a lot of others thinking) that it was Katy on Right Round at first. Katy probably only did very minor backing vocals because she's not credited as a writer and Katy writes all of her own songs so it was most likely just a minor addition to make the song sound better? (not really sure why Kesha just didn't do all of her own backing vocals though.)
