My good pal almost working with U.S. MTV website. She isn't a big thing here, just one of the trainees. So, after Prince's death her boss talked with producers, who knew him as person and were involved in his career in different years of his life. Whatever. Boss' assistant have spoken with Dallas Austin about Prince's influence and other these things. After "official part" of interview they have talked about more personal themes. So, he asked him about his past and future projects and his opinion about relevant artists of modern age.
Dallas gave an answer about his past work with Madonna and TLC and said about Beyoncé's Lemonade, Frank Ocean, Rihanna and Katy Perry. They know each other for years, but didn't work together so far. According to Dallas, he didn't wrote and produced 1984 track, BUT Katy seems interested in collaboration with Dallas. She likes Madonna's song "Secret" and TLC albums.
Dallas knows nothing about KP4 recording sessions, but said one interesting thing: "Katy is checking music industry climate right now and everybody knows about it".
I begged Laura (my friend from MTV) to give me more information, but she has got nothing for us.

So, Katy isn't blind dork. She still cares about quaility, but we don't know when and how she will deliver it to listeners.
