Oh my Yeah a 70% over 1.5 years is pretty severe, and it's not like the song is TERRIBLE, it's just kinda disappointing. This definitely signals major, major issues with Ariana as a pop star. Another one bites the dust teas.
People seem to not relate to Ariana enough. I think she feels very manufactured.
I kinda like that she seems manufactured personally because she feels... polished, if that makes sense. An imperfect polished, but polished nonetheless. I prefer pop stars that are put-together. You can tell a ton of people are meeting about her in corporate offices manufacturing her every move. ... some people like that, some people don't.
All in all she's so safe that she ends up being paradoxically divisive.
Donut-gate was blown out of proportion and obviously kind of got people to be done with her that were already on the fence about her, too.
Like personally, I know people that didn't care for her before who saw that video once and just started calling her a total bitch. Very dramatic, but yeah, the media sucks sometimes.
Yeah Ariana seems hella manufactured now. In the beginning she looked like a big talent with big voice range that came out of nowhere but her new song is way too mainstream for people to believe her.
airplay is very low, it has no chance of being high on iTunes!!
