Unfortunately, whether you want to admit it to yourself or not, a Trump win with well over 70% of white Americans voters signals an absolute lack of concern about issues that affect a wide spectrum of marginalized groups in the U.S. Wrapped up in that distrust of Hillary, fear of immigration, etc. is a lot of implicit bias and outright angst against PoC and anyone considered an "other" that's tough to quantify. I see far too many people in this thread trying to downplay this in order to make themselves feel better about people who look like them.
