Seriously though - there's something fundamental about her career she doesn't understand. She's built a career out of looking cute and pretty and playful, and all she has to do is throw in a few of those elements here and there.
I get that this Met Ball Gala is kinda something different, where you're supposed to dress to a theme, and it really is everybody's chance to not really just and look "good" so much as cool. That being said, it would not be hard to do something "edgy" while at the same time looking palatable.
Katy is clearly under the illusion that she can just live a carefree life, eat whatever and do whatever, and that when the time comes she can pull on a pink little dress and look cute and the GP will flock back. it ain't gonna happen. Her energy, her looks and her career are fading away and she's not doing a thing to stop it. Christ even Gaga has clawed back from the balloon she was throughout the C2C era and is looking sinched. When the hell did Katy let her take over?
