I don't think that was really a good things, even Alicia Keys could sing the songs on TBDT, it seems like she only wanted to come back with a successful album, and her TBDT broke the credibility she had. Lol they aren't exactly the same thing, plus even obligatory can mean different things given the context.
Also, like Matteo said, this post is riddled with lies. If you watched the making of this album, maybe you'd understand the process behind it better. It was a natural process, and it came out fun and happy, because that's how she was. She acted like herself, and the public certainly did love this record, minus the pseudo-rock fans that Matteo mentioned.
He basically said that he agreed that TBDT was a good step, because there are still emo kiddies on bandaids.
