What ever happened to her recording with the actor for the show Nashville? The season finale just aired last night so maybe it wasn't for the show at all?

Recorded some killer hand claps & vocals w/the amazing Chip Esten aka Deacon Claybourne from Nashville. Can't wait to sing w/him! Great guy!
Chip is a musician as well, so it may have been for something he is working on for himself? Ashley Arrison also recorded hand claps and background vocals. No one really knows what that recording was for yet.
Hmm, I've been listening to The War is Over the past few days and keep thinking so much more could've been done to that song. Its like it tries but just doesn't get to that point of amazing. A great song but yeh... always leaves me a bit meh

anyone else have that feeling too?
I feel it just lacks that emotional conviction that you'd find in say Sober.

I always kind of felt it was trying to streamline the bridge note (you commonly hear in her other songs), but more like in a haunting note. Still, it just lacks that emotional conviction that you'd find in say Sober.
Hmm I agree to an extent in the emotional aspect. I guess Twio tries to build then flops when it hits the vital point unlike sober which does the opposite
Thankful - Some Kind Of Miracle, What's Up Lonely, Anytime
Breakaway - Addicted, You Found Me, Hear Me
All I Ever Wanted - If I Can't Have You, The Day We Fell Apart, Can We Go Back
Stronger - Honestly, You Love Me, Let Me Down

That sucks. I wanted her to be on the show. The finale was amazing.

I get what you're saying. TWIO is one of my favs on the album but it is missing something that takes away from it being one of her truly epic songs. I think the chorus should've been a bit bigger with production and vocals. The bridge (while flawless) could've sounded more haunting which would've been amazing.

Yea, production is just plain flat throughout, but that's the problem on most songs on Stronger. It just felt so rushed, and is missing all those gritty, emotional details that you'd find in MD.

Yes! The song just doesn't go anywhere...

All I have to say is you don't deserve , part makes me feel like OMG this song is amazig but then it loses that appeal .
