Eh. I disagree about the Pink>Kelly thing. Pink is a better performer than Kelly, but Pink doesn't come close to Kelly vocally. An album from them I would definitely buy though.

Also, this "unreleased" album you're all talking about... an album of "unreleased" tracks seems like a very weird thing to do. Technically all albums are albums of unreleased tracks; why would Kelly put out an album specifically for songs she has written but that have leaked? Maybe someone can show the exact quote from her again but I'm thinking she was saying something like "I have a Christmas album coming up and then an album that is unreleased but will come out in 2014."

Knowing RCA, they probably would want to milk everything out of Kelly if she decides to leave. But then again, it wouldn't be a bad idea releasing an EP after the studio album. She usually runs out of good singles fast, and maybe the EP could cough an extra one up for radio.
I noticed something kind of funny. BMAs this year have been a total mess. And Kelly wasn't here this year. Last year she was and BMAs wasn't messy. Coincidence? Hmm.
Wouldn't RCA want to package that EP with the sixth studio album? Might give me a reason to pre-order from them.
To be honest, I still think the Unreleased album will just be an EP, maybe even part of the Smoakstack Series. I mean, who (besides the hardcore stans) would buy an album with Kelly's B-sides and unreleased tracks? That seems like the label is trying to hard and desperate for money. That's something labels do if their artist dies and they want to make money of their death.
It's not good for a label's reputation and it wouldn't be good for Kelly's reputation either. It would just seem money hungry.
And since the only people interested in it are obviously the fans, I can only see her putting it on her website for people to buy, but not as an official release or anything. That'd be too much, considering she'll also release a Christmas album this year.
And can we please stop this mess already? This is the Kelly Base, y'all can argue over Rihanna at SYG. Each of us has other artists they admire, but since this is only Kelly Base and not Kelly & Rihanna, Kelly & Beyoncé or Kelly & whoever Base, it is not expected that everyone has to like all the other artists another Kelly stan likes as well. Let's keep out second faves outside of this base and we won't have to argue. And if someone comes in here and drags them, y'all can disagree, but please stop shading Kelly to defend your other fave, it just doesn't seem the right place to do it.
Like, people in here will say that Kelly Clarkson is the Queen, because it's the Kelly base. When they were showing the rehearsal before she sang, Adam was talking about how he thinks Amber is like a "Kelly Clarkson artist" in that Kelly is able to do pop and country.
The girl did fine with the song. Blake said it was good and that Kelly does country and pop. Shakira said the song was a perfect mix of country and pop. Adam said Kelly is one of the best singers out there.

Obviously know one will know how things would be different if our ideas were used instead of RCA's but it seems like she could've been so much more successful than she is. I know she isn't into the whole fame thing, and I like that she's happy but ever since My December there has been many horrible decisions made...
Actually, it isn't really about success to me but more like how many awesome songs remained nothing more than an album track that the GP will never know.
