I'm really just now giving the album a real listen and I must say, it's pretty good for a surprise pop album.

Stuck On You is amazing. Don't get the hate at all. It's better than Kiss & Tell.

Stuck On You is okay after really overplaying it to me, but still the worst on the album. and its the production that bothers me, not the lyrics, I actually like the whole idea, but yeah, needed time to let do the job for me.

Stuck On You is still tragic, but All Good has somehow become one of my favourites, its so easy to listen to.

Stuck On You is in my 4th favorite song on the album after I Bet, DLWML and OWA.
All Good is really really bad though

Just as all the Ciara excitement kicked off, i was banned. .. Oh well.. but i still been keeping up with the discussions..
Anywho i have to say this -
I am fast becoming absolutely sick and tired of Ciara's career.. She is one of my diehard favs and i love her too pieces since Goodies, but this album is the absolute pits...
its dire
I never thought id ever say that about a Ciara album!
It's extremely embarrassing for an artist who has had extremely consistent releases since debuting, but this album is so unfocused and so below Ciara's standards. Basic Instinct is a FAR better album (aswell as the tracks that didn't even make the cut!).. I don't want to be labelled a troll, a hater, get warning points based on sharing my opinion on an artist i have loved and spent 100's of pounds on, I am MAJORLY disappointed, and how Ciara ever EVER thought this was good enough to release was beyond me.
Don't get me wrong, the album has its moments of absolute perfection namely - Dance Like We're Making Love, Kiss & Tell, I Bet and the amazingly beautiful and career highlight, Only You.. But the rest.. .. Lullaby is probably the strongest from all the weak tracks, same for THIF and Give Me Love but even still something is missing.. Its like she has no idea who she wants to be as an artist. Totally lost, confused and relentlessly set on destroying her own career.. I get she's maybe itching to try something new, cover new ground but with a career that needs reconfiguring and a revive - right now she has NO TIME approaching an entirely new format.. She needs to build her fanbase on what she does best - Sexy, seductive, mature, mid-tempo R&B, with the odd cute ballad, and a HARD hitting club banger.. Evidently the risks unfortunately didn't pay off this time around.
The album has its highlights, but for real its literally confused about its own existence.. It's completely forgettable, lacking and totally un-worthy of being included on her (for the best part) flawless discography. Her team is TOTALLY lost and/or so is Ciara, they have NO IDEA what the **** is going on, and she is totally clueless, and I'm pretty devastated i've had this an opinion on a CIARA album
Dance Like Were Making Love is THE ONLY viable option for some sort of success right now, that or Kiss & Tell - paired with innovate, amazing video and performances, promo, a remixes etc... She would definitely gain attention and win back some of those lost fans. Give Me Love as a single right now, would not work - its chances of a single entirely would depend on DLWML..

Lol relax, to me this is a logical follow up to her selftitled album, where she already teased this sound to some extend. She is not lost, but she and her team are just not capable of thinking in a profitable way when we talk about the single choices. The album has huge potential, most likely even globally in the UK, EU and Australia if they would invest time and energy in it.
I would have never released Give Me Love at this point and would have gone for That's How I'm Feeling, which may not be the best song, but with the right visual and both features she actually could do some damage. Also we live in an singles era anyways, so they always could remix or even re-arrange a future single. But we won't get past a third single if she goes on with this (lack of) singles strategy.

The only way to save the album was to release the second single right away with promo and that didn't happen...it's sad.
Just release THIF with a nice video with pitbull and missy and at least get those vevo views
