That's how I took the song all along. But I when I saw the video I saw it as her using him and riding A$ap's coat tails and using him.
Yeah National Anthem is a pretty straightforward track in regard to its meaning. I've always loved the "for the sixth page". Honestly, one of her best songs, if not her best for me, IMO.
