I feel like.... Nicki is in the same position she was when she was recording Pink Friday. The pressure is on, her backs against the wall, people want her to lose, and in a way, her career is on the line.
Remember how exciting the lead up to Pink Friday was. I remember Nicki was the first artist that I discovered on the internet, as she wasn't being played on radio internationally at that time. I felt so cool that I liked Nicki while no one else knew who she was (in Australia).
Now she has a poptart image and people assume I'm gay because I listen to her. Oh how things change.
EXACT same thing happened to me. if i told people i liked nicki back then they wouldn't care, but ever since she made pop songs they assume i'm gay

Yeah, I always said she was only popular in the US (I'm from Belgium). I didn't think she'd actually smash worldwide.

ANY artist that is popular in the us are popular in canada
Off topic but really ya'll americans are missing out on some AMAZING canadian artists who haven't crossed the borders yet. Reema major, fefe dobson, hedley, Merianas Trench (lead singer wrote call me maybe), lights, classified. they all SMASH radio in canada and deserve to cross over
