well dragons were over powered in the initial games plus some people in the poke world just didnt know their pokemon could mega evolve into dragons.

Origins is amazing. Honestly, my favorite thing the franchise has done in a long time. I only wished it was a full series rather than four episode. I would have loved to see the full battles against Misty, Sabrina, and the E4 etc.

Yeah because in those days, having a dragon typing was meant to show rarity and power. Now they just stick it on to whatever they feel like.
