The way she executed the choreography isn't really that different from this rehearsal video:
The choreography itself was just kind of "meh" to begin with, especially when compared to the choreography from her previous VMA performances. Had she been wearing a better outfit that covered her midsection, had her hair done, and used prerecorded vocals, the performance would not have received anywhere near as much backlash as it did. I honestly think that 90% of the backlash came from her looking an absolute mess. Lip-synching was par for the course for Britney, but she had never looked that messy during a performance before.
I knew it was too good to be true.
I was thinking "how could the base not even acknowledge that we'll be having new performances in less than two days?!?!?"
Now I know
It's been proven time & time again no one in this base but me knows anything regarding the future. Don't listen to them.
i keep watching the 2007 VMAs performance...it's so iconic because of how bad it is. it's interesting to watch it and think about how this was supposed to be her comeback performance, her time to show the world that Britney (bitch) is back. it's like watching a car crash, i can't stop staring and replaying it.
If her hair dresser didn't quit, her heel didn't break and she wasn't wearing those contact it wouldn't have been so bad. Because the original choreograph and pace isn't much different from what she did.
