Because she's become easily the most recognizable and fleshed out character in the show so far, both by fans and critics, it would deal the biggest blow besides killing Rick or Daryl. And the whole point of that death is how gruesome and memorable it was. A Ned Stark kind of death.

But I'm confident it won't happen like that, I think she's safe from Negan.

I am very concerned about a certain spoiler I hope It's fake regarding what Dwight does to Abraham in the comics that would happen to Carol instead while talking to Daryl
