I do sometimes question whether Born to Die was a fluke because Paradise was kind of a disappointment. It's ok though, Lana's talent reaches beyond label LP releases, she has good connections in the movie industry as well. In those respects, she won't be remembered for just that one debut album era like some of her contemporaries
Every Deadryl interview about her 18th nomination is so awkward to watch b/c the interviewers all literally treat her like she's God. To be treated like this for decades and to not lose sight of yourself and what's important is so impressive. Just look at Lady GaGa and how quickly she lost the plot and unraveled.
