X-Factor is the biggest promo in the UK. Good performance always gives a big push to songs and they easely go to #1.

That is not true at all, many songs have not gone to #1 this year after X Factor performances. "Stay" has no video, so the song is Top 10 based on her performance alone.

Wait... just listened to Impossible by Shontelle for the first time.... her version sucks so bad

Fifth Harmony introduced me to this song and I thought they did a good job. Then James Arthur sang it and wow, what a ****ing amazing song when he sings it! It just shows you that sometimes a song needs the RIGHT singer to show how truly amazing it is. Well done to the song-writer of this song and I am truly saddened that this didn't go to an artist like James first time around. However, they will be lucky that their song can now be truly recognized in its greatest glory :clap3;
