I've not heard either CMB or People Like Us . Are they yet another bunch of Since U Been Gone derivatives?
People Like Us follows the standard Kelly formula (which the public loves btw, so keep it cute).
Catch My Breath, on the other hand, is a wonderful, uplifting, electro-synth mid-tempo and is one of Kelly's most different and interesting singles in a long time if you ask me.
Catch My Breath is basic, but I love it, it can be like just another love-yourself song, nothing special but it's a cool track

A shame that the "Stronger" era lasted like nothing, yeah it was almost a year but the singles deserved hell more and I mean, it's her 2nd best album, this album offered so much, full of amazing tracks (just see Grammy Nominations)
What made me angry is that Dark Side could have been a hit. It reached #26 on iTunes with minimal airplay and no big promo after its adds date. The Stronger era could've kept going but radio was still spinning Stronger way too much.

It's his current single in the UK (and I think in Europe aswell). It's just that the US take like 6 months to get through each song, so they need a different release schedule lol.
I think he'll probably do She Wolf in January for the US, and then jump straight to Play Hard for the summer.
