Oh yes probably is better for Avril to work with people who know nothing about music, guitar chords, notes, lyrics and just sing thanks to autotune and computer.
Surely a video with 22 views, a thread on a forum that represents the 0.00000000000001% of the worldwide population can destroy Avril's image.
That guy on Yahoo answer is talking about Nickelback's lyrics that he assumes to be all the same, probably would be better for Avril to work with Rihanna o Katy Perry that actually trough their music can spread a peace message all over the world and talk about social problems.

Nickelback sold more than 35 million copies ww, I can just say that would be worst for Avril's image a new WTH lead single than a collaboration with Chad, we have been talking about this adult image for months and for me she is on the right way
