Britney Spears & Rihanna stopped by The Today Show this morning for an interview/performance of their new song "Touchin' Me"
Highlights:
-Hi girls, how are you?
B&R: We're good, thank you.
-Your new song "Touchin' Me" is doing well around the world and it really is a great song, how does it feel to see such positive feedback?
Rihanna: Well when Britney called me for a collab I knew we had to do something special. I mean we spent hours in the studio we got a lot of girls to come help write the song and we ended up writing a banger, I'm happy to see the positive feedback.
-The video is certainly making waves on social media, do you think you guys went a step too far?
Britney: Uhm I think people are taking it too seriously, it's all in good fun and we don't want to offend anyone or try to look down on the church or nuns, seriously. I love church I go all the time and I hope no one is offended by the video, we could've dialed it down a bit but then it would just be like any other video. We had to make it special.
-Your new album "American Dream" is out and fans are loving it, you also start your Naughty Girl tour tomorrow, correct?
Britney: Yeah it kicks off tomorrow at Yankee Stadium, you can get tickets on Live Nation but the Yankee Stadium date is already sold out and the others are close but not full just yet.
-Rihanna how come you stopped promoting Sex Dairy
Rihanna: It's Sex Diary actually but uhm you know it was just a buzz album, it's still a really good album with hot tracks and stuff so if you wanna hot album you should get it.
-Why are you girls teaming up with Cheetos, I mean throwing cheetos into space.. come on now.
Rihanna: We are original gurl, we don't follow the trends, we make them. Soon everybody will be throwing chips into the air and stuff gurl just wait and see.
-Well I got good news for everyone in the audience, these girls are gonna perform Touchin' Me for us and everyone here is getting a copy of both American Dream and Sex Dairy!!

After the interview, Britney started the performance. Britney was wearing a black latex cat-suit and Rihanna wasn't on stage. Britney performed a heavy dance number to the Junkie XL Remix of "Gimme Your Best", the quick dance took place in center stage with Britney surrounded by fire. She was twisting and twirling her body as the crowd cheered. About halfway into the song the beat changed as some breathy vocals played in the background. The beat drop was very intense as lights shot up all around the stage.
Rihanna came down from above the stage attached to a cable. The girls began singing Touchin' Me as Rih came down to the stage. Rih ripped off a cape and revealed that she was wearing the same outfit as Britney, only hers was red. Britney and Rihanna danced together on the stage as fire shot out and smoke surrounded them. Swat men then descended from above the stage and attempted to grab Brit & Rih. The girls pushed and kicked them away.
Once the chorus hit, the girls were together center stage and began touching each other to the beat of Touchin' Me while they sang live. They ripped off parts of each others outfits, revealing bare midriffs and showing parts of their hot legs. The girls were then surrounded by the swat men once again, the guys were touchin them while they kept their glances on each other and sang Touchin' Me. The girls broke free and performed a dance break in center stage together, they then got really close and almost kissed as smoke surrounded the stage and the performance was over.

Today Rihanna and Britney surprised fans and GP by opening their own radio station it’s called “BR (Britney Rihanna) Live” By saying worldwide you might think that we are talking about, but yeah it’s worldwide, each continent got their own BR live, Rihanna and Britney won’t be the hosts tho. For Europe Rih and Brit hired hosts to be Tulisa and Simon Cowell. For America the hosts will be Britney’s sister and Rih’s brother, so yeah get ready, why ready, go now and listen to BR live. But to let you know the only song that will be palying this week on radio is Brit’s and Rih’s “Touchin’Me” so hosts and other things won’t be needed this week, because the only thing this week that is gonna be heard is “Touchin’ Me” can you take it? Go and listen now.
The radio was well received by public, and right now there are 8 million people listening to it, a bit much isn’t it? All these people are listening to “Touchin’ Me” get those stream points girls, they for sure both know what they are doing, we are loving it. Promo at it’s finest. Oh also both Rih and Brit will be as hosts on radio, so keep on checking by.

The crowd erupted in massive appluase and cheering, as well as bursts of "YASS GAGA YOU LOOK SO GOOD!" They closed out the performance with the Zedd remix of Born This Way. Zedd stated: "Make sure you buy 'Temple' on Google Play or Amazon, and preorder my new album Serenity, coming out on Tuesday! No fruit!" The crowd started chanting, "Down with Apple!"
After the performance, various news outlets started discussing the performance, from the Applegate reference to Gaga's proclamation about cannabis. The media is overwhelmingly siding with Zedd and Gaga on both issues. Users on Twitter and Facebook also agreed with the media here; one mother of two tweeted, "Never realized how weed can help people and also helps terminally ill people as well #LegalizeIt." The hashtag #LegalizeIt became a trending topic in less than 30 minutes after the concert. It appears that Gaga was able to change the majority opinion on marijuana- and it didn't even need to take the night!

Wait a ****ing millisecond, I just saw this. Aura is clearly the strong opener. And I specifically called it Burqa because that is the version I am putting on Lady Gaga's upcoming slay album #DECAY. But whatever Zedd.
