It's not the AOTY yet or anything but 3/5 is a bit low imo. Of course standards were set really really high but I found it enjoyable outside of some unneeded background voices. I think the critics are gonna be more harsh on it though compared to their debut.

Honestly, you'd be better off listening to straight up Afrobeat artists for the latter.

And world music is so broad. M.I.A. is pretty good entry artist for that kind of stuff. What sounds specifically do you like? Bhangra, South Asian Music...etc,.?

Yeah, I listen to Afrobeat artists but I was thinking more on the lines of artists who like Wynter Gordon who incorporated African tribal music with Stimela and No Hush:

It's a bit heavy on the concept so it's a chore to listen to it all the way through a lot. BUT most B4L albums for me are always a chore and this is prob her most consistent one so props to her.
