I think everything is on lock except for Best Picture, Best Director and..Best Supporting Actor..
Even though The Revenant should win the former two categories..Spotlight (or even Mad Max) are there for Best Picture..and so are Miller and McCarthy..but I guess they'll choose to give BP and BD to the same movie, as usual..
And even though Stallone is predicted to win..Mark Rylance still has a chance to me..
These are the awards I believe to be 100% on lock:
Best Director: The Revenant
Best Actress: Brie Larson "Room"
Best Supporting Actress: Alicia Vikander "The Danish Girl"
Animated Feature: Inside Out
Original Screenplay: Spotlight
Adapted Screenplay: The Big Short
Best Makeup & Hair: Mad Max
Best Cinematography: The Revenant
Best Production Design: Mad Max Documentary Feature: Amy
Original Score: The Hateful Eight
Foreign Language Film: Son of Saul
The rest I'm really not sure. I'm positive the fight for Best Picture is between Spotlight and The Big Short.
Oscar, BAFTA, Grammy in one month, totalling 28 awards.
Best Picture - The Revenant
Best Actor - Leonardo DiCaprio
Best Actress - Brie Larson
Best Supporting Actor - Tom Hardy
Best Supporting Actress - Kate Winslet
I think the revenant wasn't that good. Honestly these kind of movies are all about "atmosphere" but it didn't really happen for me and just fell flat after a while. Also Leo was good but Tom Hardy was easily the highlight. Nevertheless He'll definitely deserve an oscar for his overall acting work after all the snubs.
Downloaded The Revenant to watch before the awards.
Sis' it's only available in s**ty quality, it didn't leak yet, don't do this to yourself
Download "Room", "Spotlight" or "Brooklyn" instead, they all available in Blu-ray. Go see "The Revenant" at the theater, just like "Mad Max" it's an experience you have to live at the cinema.
