This is PHENOMENAL. And knowing that Adele actually recorded the demo for this song and "Birds Set Free" from Sia's new album is really shocking because this does not sound like something Adele would even feel comfortable recording. I'm sure the production was reworked for Sia's musical style, but still... Vocally, it's a bit out of Adele's comfort zone in the chorus. I'd love to hear her take on this, though. This is amazing.

Amen. Her voice is phenomenal. I think it's because some people don't like the cracks in her voice or something? I don't know. But still, that adds to the song because she puts a lot of emotion and passion into what she sings. Sia is one of the best vocalists in music today. "Alive" is so good.... It better go on to become a bigger hit than "Chandelier." It's phenomenal.

This is absolutely AMAZING. One of the best songs of the year, such a powerful and amazing song and I LOVE IT

I really hope it does well and wins awards, it deserves it! And Sia's voice is so damn incredible on this song, she's seriously got such a special voice. I'm sure Adele would have done well with it but honestly, I probably wouldn't like it as much as I like Sia's version.
