I don't care what enxe said about that one clue being too obvious for Yellow Submarine - it BETTER be in the Bottom 10. If I could go back and do my list again, I would give it a 0/1 (whatever the lowest score is in this game, I don't remember)

It was mine too. Don't worry about it getting out, because it's going to win the whole thing
Initially released as part of the 1966 album Revolver and released as a double A-side with "Eleanor Rigby", "Yellow Submarine" is a playful song written by John and Paul that features lead vocals by Ringo. It went on to become the title song of the 1968 animated film of the same name, appearing on the soundtrack.
Despite its simple lyrics, due to its intention of being a nonsense song aimed at children, it apparently received a few social and political interpretations upon release.
"Yellow Submarine" also received the most 0s of any song in the rate, receiving three. Poor Ringo.
What the GP had to say:
I suppose one song has to go first, but some of you really liked it, so poor that. IcarusIsFlying commended the band's commercial success and longevity, saying: "Hew else has a iconic #1 song about a submarine? Kings." If you know any other #1s written about submarines, let us know. Buyonce1814 was not a fan, and kept it simple for once: "Nonono." lousaysthings feels the same, simply stating that the song is "TRASH!". When Marq sent his scores, he said to give "Yellow Submarine" either a "0 or 1, whatever's lowest". Safe to say, this song continues to be polarising even after all these years.
Released as a standalone single in 1969, "The Ballad Of John And Yoko" was written by John about the events after he married Yoko. It was also the band's 17th and final #1 single in the UK, and the first Beatles single to be released in stereo and not receive a mono mix. Some US radio stations refused to play it because of its use of the words "Christ" and "crucify" in the lyrics.
What the GP had to say:
I am still convinced some of you only dragged this because it has "Yoko" in the title. Buyonce1814 was mad at what he perceived as false advertising, saying: "It's not even a ballad." But... Never mind. One of the few 10s, potent, praised the song, saying: "The best surprise in the rate was rediscovering this song. I thought I didn't know it, turns out I just didn't recognize it by name. The guitar riff is iconic."
"I'll Follow The Sun" appeared on the album Beatles For Sale. Written and sung by Paul, it tells the story of a narrator who feels unappreciated by a lover. Though released initially in 1964, an early version can be found on the 1960 bootleg You Might As Well Call Us The Quarrymen.
What the GP had to say:
IcarusIsFlying kept it short and simple, and said, "Trash." Lucas32, on the other hand, praised the song, calling it: "A nice and dreamy acoustic ballad."
