I'm re-watching the whole series again and the acting is so solid and I have such a deep appreciation for the cinematography & editing.
I disagree with everyone who says Miguel Angel Silvestre (Lito) is a bad actor. He showcases a great deal of range that Max Riemelt (Wolfie) & Tina Desai (Kala) lack throughout the series. I thing Silvestre's deep spanish accent when he speaks English is probably the only thing one can complain about.
Brian J. Smith (Will) has some flawless moments as well. Tuppence Middleton (Riley) & Doona Bae (Sun) are neither good or bad at their job.
Jamie Clayton (Nomi) took a while to win me over, but Episode 9 convinced me that homegirl has some skills
The best actor (and I'm probably biased) has to be Aml Ameen (Capheus) . He was just fantastic throughout and his plot is probably the one that hits closest to home for me. I am shocked at how realistic the whole "Van Damme" reference was. African kids idolize Jackie Chan, Bruce Lee, Van Damme, Steven Seagal etc with such force. And the fact that he got the dialect downE to a T, was just
