Usually I do separate write-ups for ties, but this is hilarious so.
First of all, can we praise AIFOL for tying with the Single Mix, depsite the blatant sabotage of some members?
I mean, the vocals shine through on the album mix, especially compared to the bare production of pure ambience. It’s a huge contrast to Pluto, but perhaps the most transcendent moment in her entire discography. I love it.
The Single Mix, which was actually the original version, isn’t as good. It sounds more like the rest of the album, but the vocals don’t stand out as much and the verses lose their sense of formless beauty.
I don't even consider it her 4th best album.
