Welcome castaways to the 1st results show of the season! Below will be your individual scores from each judge. After those are announced, I will post your final team averages as well as other statistics for you all to look at. The lowest final team average will be heading to Tribal Council to send one of their members home.

Before we start, I just want to say this wasn't a very good round in terms of scores. But if you make it through this round, it will be easier and you will have the chance to redeem yourself.

For a general idea of what each score means, I have a little explanation for each one.

10 = Perfect.
9 - 9.5 = Great but not the best.
8 - 8.5 = Good but not great.
7 - 7.5 = Fits decent but something is off about it.
6 - 6.5 = Somewhat relates to the topic but falls flat for whatever reason.
5 - 5.5 = Barely anything to do with the subject at all.
4 - 4.5 = Virtually nothing to do with the topic at all.
3 - 3.5 = Doesn't relate in any way whatsoever.
2 - 2.5 = Horrible but not 1 worthy.
1 - 1.5 = The worst possible example to submit.

With that said, let's get started...

Tribe Bonbondi

1. holyground - Ed Sheeran - Kiss Me

Dylan - 7 - I actually just thought it was your typical love song until I saw the explanation from Ed himself. The song fits in that case, but the song should speak for itself. I shouldn't have to look at what Ed says about it. Take that into consideration next time though this is still a decent start compared to others.

Nothing about this song seems to hint that it’s about falling for a friend, and the line about “falling for your eyes but they don’t know me yet” makes me a bit iffy that they’re friends. Lovely song though.

1. Anna - 7
Ed himself has confirmed that this is about friends falling in love, so good choice. The only downside is that without looking up the meaning, I never would have known for sure because there is nothing that points to the fact that it's friends, it could be applied to any two people falling in love, that's why I had to take a bit off.

2. MusicLoverDude - Austin Mahone feat. Flo Rida - Say You're Just a Friend

Dylan - 9 - People may say your music taste is radio disney but you really made it work here. She think they're just friends but he wants more than just that. Really nice start to your game MLD.

Meh, I don’t think this is really what the round was looking for. It was supposed to be about the narrator of the song falling in love with someone who was already their friend, and this song is about a 13 year old being friend zoned.

2. Anna - 10
I really like this choice. He talks about how he is really into her and wants her to be with him, but she keeps saying he is just a friend so it's clear that this is friendship turning into more (at least on his side). Off to a good start, Ryan.

3. Remmy - Taylor Swift - Mary's Song (Oh My My My)

Dylan - 9 - i actually really like the point of view here; childhoood friends falling in love. Really cool choice. The best of the three Taylor submissions we got this round. Nice start Remmy!

Ethan - 10
Taylor was an easy choice, but this wasn’t a song I’d have thought of. It fits perfectly. Awesome job!

3. Anna - 8
Interesting perspective, it's kinda like childhood friends growing up and becoming lovers and staying together for the rest of their lives. I don't see it as 100% fitting the theme because it's almost like it was clear from when they were kids that they would be together, so the relationship was kinda always there. But still a good choice and better than all the other Taylor songs this round.

4. Speezy - Taylor Swift - Hey Stephen

Dylan - 5 - It's a song about a crush, but that's about it. I'm just wondering why in the wordl you didn't send in The Other Side by Jason?! That would have easily been a perfect if not near perfect score. Missed opportunity there. Step it up next round.

Ethan - 6
This round was supposed to be about falling in love with someone who was already your friend; in this song, Taylor has loved Stephen ever since they met. They are friends and she is in love with him, but the round was more specific than that.

4. Anna - 5
This song strikes me as a rather weak choice. For one, it seems to be more about a crush or infatuation than seriously falling in love, she just fancies him. But most importantly, this doesn't mention anywhere that they're friends - it's just some guy she knows, and nowhere it states that they're actually close or that she's at least closer to him than all the other girls.

5. Truth Teller - En Vogue - Don't Let Go (Love)

Dylan - 10 - This is actually spot on. I've never heard the song but it's a nice R&B song. More importantly, it's about wanting to be more than friends with a friend which is what so many failed to send in this round. Very well done Truth Teller.

Ethan - 7
Yes, they’re friends, and yes, she (they?) are in love with him, but we’re looking for songs about someone who is friends with someone but then falls in love with them. It’s a fine line. The annoying harmonies don’t help.

5. Anna - 10
I love this song, I love how you took the risk to choose it and I love how perfectly it fits the theme. Classic situation, she falls in love with her friend and he basically feels the same but is scared to take things further because it might go wrong.

6. EuphorianSea - Toni Braxton - Fairy Tale

Dylan - 6 - They were friends before they started the relationship which is why this isn't getting a lower score. The relationships ending now which means the song is more of a break up song than a song primarily about falling in love. There's room for improvement and hopefully you get the chance to do so.

Ethan - 8
They were friends, then they fell in love. This song takes place after they’re been in love for awhile and are now going through some problems, so it’s not perfect, but it isn’t a bad choice.

6. Anna - 4
This already seems to be one step further, from what I understand they used to be friends, then entered a relationship and now it's about to end? Or maybe they were just lovers and she also saw him as her best friend.. either way, I would definitely classify this as a break up song rather than a song about falling in love with a friend because she's asking what went wrong and says she wants to go back to the beginning.

7. Lucky#17 - Jason Mraz & Colbie Caillat - Lucky

Dylan - 7 - There's not enough for me to say this is for sure about friends falling in love, but there's also not enough telling me otherwise which is why I have you in the middle of the pack. There's one line about being best friends but I think it's just a matter of being so in love they're like your best friend rather than actually being friends before hand. I hope that makes sense. Decent start but there were better options.

Ethan - 6.5
No. “Lucky I’m in love with my best friend” does not say “we were friends and now I’m falling in love with you”. Nothing about this song fits except that one lyric, sorry.

7. Anna - 5
Yes, the song says "Lucky to be in love with my best friend" but they way it goes on, it sounds more like they are lovers and see each others as best friends, too. I don't get the impression that they were friends before and then it became more. On top of that, it also seems to deal with the topic of long distance relationship/one partner being away, so definitely not the best choice.

8. Gabegabe - No Doubt - Don't Speak

Dylan - 4.5 - I see where you were coming from because of the verse about losing her best friend but I really did want songs about falling in love, not falling apart. Their love may have come from a place of friendship, but it's ending now. This works much better for a break up songs round. Better luck next time gabe.

Ethan - 1
It’s not at all what this round called for. This song is about a couple that is breaking up. The fact that it mentions “feel like I’m losing my best friend” or whatever does not bring it anywhere near the theme.

8. Anna - 3
Gabe.. this is a break up song. Yes, they were friends, then started a relationship, but now it's over. I can see where you're coming from and you are right, their love was originated in the friendship, but we wanted a song about that phase where you realise you wanna be more than friends, and not where you realise it's not working.

Tribe Adranaha

1. K$Ellie - Ke$ha - Only Wanna Dance With You

Dylan - 5 - It's a love song so I'll give you credit on that but it really doesn't clarify who the guy is and if I'm going by the lyrics, it's most likely a romantic interest from the start hence the first verse. There's clear room for improvement but it could have been worse.

Ethan - 4
Ke$ha took one look and that was it. They were never friends, she just went straight to loving him. We’re looking for songs about falling in love with someone you’re friends with, and Ke$ha is already head over heels for this bearded beauty.

1. Anna - 4
This song is great but I am not sure if the guy she is singing about is a friend. It appears to be more about someone completely new, who now came into her life and everything has changed and everything's all about him now. I mean, the first verse, she saw him outside 7-11 and fell in love by accident? They were flirting and she was playing hard to get initially? Doesn't sound like a friendship turning into love, I'm afraid

2. Qatari Monster - Lady Gaga - Gypsy

Dylan - 2 - I'm really not sure where you're coming from here at all. The song is about traveling the world and feeling alone. Your first choice entry was actually a decent choice so I was surprised when this was your second. Not a good start. Love the song thought.

Ethan - 3
Maybe I’m confused, but I don’t think this song is anything close to fitting the theme. “Sometimes I think that we could just be friends”, how does that imply that they are currently friends and she’s falling in love with him? Great song though.

2. Anna - 1
This is about her touring the world to perform music, and how it makes it difficult to maintain relationships and she sometimes feels alone. I really don't know where you are getting the interpretation from that it's about falling in love with a friend, sorry.

3. Bey_RihStan - Nickelback - Don't Let It End

Dylan - 9.5 - Surprising choice but it actually really works out for you here! Nice find. You must have digged deep as I can almost bet my life that you're not a Nickelback stan. Great choice.

Please never send Nickelback again.

3. Anna - 10
Did not really expect to see Nickelback here but this is very much spot on. Nice find! He talks about things they do as friends, joking around and having fun, and how they both kinda know there's more between them but pretend there isn't.. and then he moves on to tell how the actually told each other about their feelings. Very nice story telling.

4. Lippy - Alicia Keys - Teenage Love Affair

Dylan - 5.5 - It's possible they were friends before but there's nothing that I can really pinpoint as being so. It's lovey dovey which is where the bulk of your points are coming from but definitely try to hit the theme harder next time around.

Ethan - 3
Not at all, there’s nothing in here that hints they were friends and that she’s falling in love with him. They’re already having an affair.

4. Anna - 3
To be honest, the vibe I'm getting here is two more or less horny teenagers.. she likes to hang out with him, she's comfortable around him, but nowhere does it say they were friends before they started the affair.

5. Superiore - Michael Jackson & Stevie Wonder - Just Good Friends

Dylan - 4 - It's just a love triangle man. She covers it up by saying they're "just good friends". The title made me think this was going to be spot on but the lyrics say otherwise. Sorry, hopefully you'll be around next time to do some damage.

Ethan - 4
They are having an affair, and they want to keep it secret, so he tells her to tell everyone that they’re just good friends. This song is not about falling in love with someone you are friends with.

5. Anna - 2
When I look at these lyrics, it sounds like they are having a secret affair and if the other guy asks her, she is supposed to claim that they are just good friends. It's like a love triangle, using the cover of friendship to hide an affair.

6. gotintoririfever1 - Ed Sheeran - Tenerife Sea

Dylan - 5 - It's a love song. Not much regarding a friendship blossoming into something more which was the main focus this round. You were the lucky one who got to nab that 24th spot so I hope you can make better use of it next round man.

Ethan - 5
Where in this does it talk about them being friends and now he’s falling in love with her? He’s in love, which is a step in the right direction compared to some other entries, but I would need some convincing to see it as a viable choice.

6. Anna - 5
I just don't see how he fell in love with a friend. I mean, it's a possibility, but he just describes the girl he loves and his feelings for her. It seems like he knows her very well so it might be a friend, but it's very vague so I cannot say it's 100% in sync with the theme.

7. Amaloner - Colbie Caillat - Realize

Dylan - 9.5 - Yes it's a song by the exact same example artist but it's one of the best fits we received this round. She has feelings for her best friend and it's made extremely clear which other songs failed to do. It also heps that Colbie herself has explained the origin of the song. Great start!

Ethan - 10
Leave it to Queen Colbie to give two flawless examples. “If you’d just realize what I just realized”. They were friends, she’s falling in love with him. Perfect.

7. Anna - 8
Yes, this can easily be interpreted as a song about falling in love with a friend. However, there are a couple of other options because she doesn't explicitly mention friendship, that's why I have to take some points off; it could for example be just two people that have a very difficult on/off relationship, or maybe a forbidden kind of love. Generally a good choice though.

8. Sebas - Marina and the Diamonds - Lies

Dylan - 5 - I see where you were trying to go here but it doesn't work for me. It seems like she wants a serious relationship while he wants to maintain a friends with benefits type of relationship. However, I don't think she considers him a friend so the whole falling for a friend requirement isn't fulfilled here. Better step it up next round if you're here.

Ethan - 2
This song appears to be about her not wanting to admit their relationship is over. Am I wrong? It doesn’t fit.

8. Anna - 2
To be honest, I think this song is just about an unfulfilled relationship, where both partners want different things - she wants a serious commitment, but for him it's just casual. They're not on the same page and she knows it but she still wants to pretend that everything's ok because she loves him so much. Even if he claims he loves her like a friend, I don't think it means she fell in love with her friend, rather it's his way of saying he doesn't love her enough to be in a relationship.

Tribe Brilando

1. Bloomers - AlunaGeorge - Friends To Lovers

Dylan - 9 - The title alone sums it up. It's a more than decent song with lyrics that cater towards the theme of this round really well. Well done Bloomers.

Ethan - 10
I hate this song, but it fits very well. She can’t deny that she has feelings for him, she’s just trying to convince herself that it’s worth the risk.

1. Anna - 10
I like this choice a lot, she is thinking about making the change from friends to lovers because they both kinda know they feel that way about each other but she's anxious because either things could go very well or very wrong. She's contemplating whether it's a risk worth taking. Very good.

2. FunkyDinevo - Amerie - Why Don't We Fall In Love

Dylan - 8 - This is one where I had to interpret it as a friend since it's not necesarily directly stated. Overall, she's scared to tell this guy who is most likely a friend that she likes him as more. It's a good start.

Ethan - 9
It seems to fit really well, she’s giving up and admitting that she is falling for him. Awful song, but great find.

2. Anna - 7
It's about unrequited love, or at least she is not sure whether the other person feels the same. It could be anyone, as she doesn't mention friendship, but friend is a very plausible option. Not too bad!

3. Cristhian - Beck - Think I'm In Love

Dylan - 7 - This one is okay, kinda in the middle of the pack this time. It doesn't immediately scream falling for a friend but it's an option depending on how you interpret the track. This is a decent start to your game.

Ethan - 7
Meh, it could be about that, but I don’t think it is. He’s falling in love with her but we have no indication that they’re just friends right now.

3. Anna - 7
Kind of like Funky's song, he is in love but scared to tell her because he doesn't know if she will feel the same way. Could be a friend, a colleague or any girl he knows but friend is definitely a possibility.

4. Yvess - Sam Smith - Leave Your Lover

Dylan - 7.5 - Is it a friend? I'm not necessarily sure but I can see where you coming from with this choice. It's not that direct which is where you lack this time around. However, this is a decent score for the first time around.

Ethan - 6
This doesn’t really fit because it’s not as if they’re friends and he’s just now falling in love with him, he’s been in love with the guy and they’re not together because the guy is with someone else. Amazing song though.

4. Anna - 7
And another one from the category forbidden love, he says the other person will never know about his love for them but that doesn't necessarily mean they're friends. It could be anyone he loves but who already is in a relationship.

5. Ivory. - Mariah Carey - I've Been Thinking About You

Dylan - 10 - Glad you changed it because Too Close is good and all but this is spot on when it comes to falling for a friend. It's also a pretty cool song. Really nice start! Keep it up.

Wow, this fits really well! Mariah has known this guy for awhile, and she’s just now realizing that she likes him. “You’ve always been a friend to me, but now I’m wanting more.” Awesome find!

Dylan - 4.5 - I'm not a fan of this one. I think her boyfriend was her best friend from the one line in the lyrics but other than that it's not really on point for this round. It seems like she's missing what she once had which doesn't fit the falling for a friend criteria I set for this round. Sorry man. Hopefully you get another chance to prove yourself next round.

I don’t see how it fits the theme about them being friends and her falling for him. There is one lyric about “You were my friend” but other than that, I really can’t see it.

6. Anna - 3
I'm getting break up song vibes from this, and where she says "I'm missing my best friend" it seems to be in the meaning of that her lover was also her best friend, not she fell in love with her best friend. I don't actually see anything about falling in love here at all, sorry.

7. Ihdang2000 - Secondhand Serenade - Fall For You

Dylan - 3 - It has a little to do with falling back in love I guess. It's a cool song but it really doesn't relate to friends at all. It seems like there's a relationship problem and he's trying to fix it. Sorry dude. This is way off. Maybe next time.

They’re in a rocky relationship and he’s trying to take it back to where they were in a good place. It doesn’t fit.

Another break up song, or at least it is discussing relationship problems. They are together and have been fighting a lot, but that night he wants to fall in love with her again and make things right because he loves her a lot. Not related to friends falling in love, sorry.

8. DOMINO - Taylor Swift - Teardrops On My Guitar

Dylan - 8 - Ah, Taylor's breakthrough single. It fits just fine for me. They're friends. He has a gf. She likes him. overall, it fits with a different approach since it's not a happy situation even though she has fallen for a friend regardless. Pretty good job.

Ethan - 6
This round was supposed to be about falling in love with someone who was already your friend; in this song, Taylor has loved Drew ever since they met. They are friends and she is in love with him, but the round was more specific than that.

8. Anna - 6
It's not that clear that they are friends, it feels more like he's the popular guy in school that she admires from afar and has a crush on, or that maybe they started to get to know each other and he sees her as a friend whereas she straight out fell for him. So it's not exactly what the round asked for, but it's not completely off the mark either.
