Well, the results were a little all over the place. Some songs we liked collectively, some we were okay with collectively, and others were panned all over the place. But there is a consensus…
Because of last week having a ton of dropouts and a few late entries, I wasn't really able to showcase the scoring/ranking system properly. So, allow me to do so now…
Our top writer this week and the winner of immunity is…
Safe to say that
Girlicious
, with only ★★★★★ five stars, you will not be going platinum this season…
However…
Because of BadBitches absence, you have be spared from elimination this round… I sincerely hope that this will push you to improve during the competition…
All the work was worth it! Thank you all so much! I really did work on this song a lot. My first round song took no more than 15 minutes, but I worked on this more than any song in months. Probably 3 hours or so total went into it. Let me go celebrate now.
I knew that "Doctor" line was gonna get some weird looks, but that was the only line I could conjure that fit the flow I had in my head, and once you have a flow in your head, it's hard to knock it.
Okay, time to stop feeling mopey and angry, time to get happy! This time we want a song that makes you smile. Yes, I understand it's pretty much the polar opposite of the last challenge, but we want to see if you are capable of being a polar opposite when it comes to songwriting… Time to put on your happy face, get in a good mood, and smile! In fact, this challenge has put me in such a good mood that I have (for probably only this time) extended the deadline… you have nearly the whole week to get this challenge done!
Compared to last week, I feel like these are lacking. I just didn’t know where it was going and I felt like while all the lyrics were good, I didn’t understand what you were meaning and it was less descriptive than last week. I know you got it in you, I just didn’t really like these this week. Really sorry man. Still there’s good points, the bridge is my favourite part. I love how you did that. Keep it up though, I know you’re safe. Just hope to see something from you like before next week!
Got it! This song was way more out of my usual style; I don't usually tell stories in my songs. So actually doing something similar will probably be easier!

Firstly, the fact that I was clearly able to see what was going on through the whole song is great. I also like that the whole song isn’t a blunt ‘look at how sad/mad/etc. I am’, but it’s more subtle. If you just saw these occurrences go on in everyday life, most people wouldn’t think twice, but it adds a whole new layer in the perspective we get in the song. The only think I can think to say is ‘just’ was used quite a bit, possibly as filler, but I do that all the time myself (though I’ve been working on fixing that).
ooh, missed that. I'll be careful next time! I guess I was trying a bit too hard on this one to make the meter precise.

Ooh, very mysterious and deep. I like it. There are those rare occasions where explanation inside the song would've ruined it, and the air of mystery really make it. This is one of those rare occasions. I was pleasant surprised at how it felt like a ghost story; there were many chills running up my spine from the get-go. This was good work!
Thanks~
EDIT: My season average in 9 stars. No pressure tho.
