-The battle system is based on sword and magic fantasy, and the epitome of gameplay is consistently changing (the Japanese here is a bit unclear).
-The evolution of Linear Motion battle System and further surprises are being prepared.
-A focus on dragons is a first for the series, but as seen in the logo it is closely related to the story.
This is so exciting. Tales has way overdone the futuristic fantasy tropes. I'm so over Fonons, Aer, Cryas, and whatever other BS they make up. A game featuring more traditional fantasy (Lord of the Rings, A Game of Thrones, etc) themes would be amazing.
I've been on a Tales Of kick lately. Back around the middle of December I finished Xillia, last week I finished Graces f, and I just started Vesperia yesterday. After I finish Vesperia I'm moving on to Abyss before I buy Tales of Symphonia Chronicles.
I'm really excited to get Symphonia Chronicles. I've never played Symphonia, and I've had Dawn of the New World sitting on my shelf for years, but didn't want to play it without playing Symphonia first.
It's the 20th anniversary too this year. But they will pay it dust.
Don't be silly. Square Enix will obviously announce Final Fantasy VI: Years After The, which will go to straight to iOS with transactions for every chapter.
I bought Xillia too , mixed feelings tbh.
The story is simple but it works
The characters I've seen so far are great, Milla>>>>>>>>
I hate the stage/dungeons designs, they're so damn huge and my damn ocd won't let me move to the next area without killing every single enemy and finding every single treasure
I'm halfway through Xillia and i can already say I've enjoyed it WAY more than Graces F
The characters are superior and not a childish cliche mess, the only thing I miss from Graces is the mixer
I haven't touched Xillia since my controller broke, a week ago. In any case, I stopped at the part where you board a ship(chapter 3 I believe) and didn't even knew what was going on anymore
