According to UKMix, Norah Jones' 'Come Away With Me' has sold 11,004,000 copies and is #11 on the Nielsen Soundscan list. Adele's '21' is at #12 with 10,952,000 sold, which means Adele only needs to sell 52,000 before she overtakes Norah.
According to UKMix, #89 sold around 3,400 and #118 sold around 2,825. I'm going to guess that '21' sold around 3,200 this week. Sales should be around 10,958,000 now.
21 #103 (#101) - two re-entries above that. I'm going to guess that sales are around the same as last week, so I'm saying that total sales are around 10,964,000 now.
21 #105 on Billboard chart this week, down 2 places from last week. @chartnews has this week's sales as 3,000, but it's a little more than that - #111 sold 3.2k this week and #90 sold 3.7k (from UKMix), so probably around 3.4k for '21' this week. Either way, sales are around 10,968,000 in the U.S. now.
-- Adele, 21 (No. 101): At the rate the album is selling (around 3,000 per week), its cumulative sales will exceed 11 million within three months. (21 has sold 10.97 million through July 27.) Only 11 albums have sold 11 million in the United States since SoundScan started tracking sales in 1991.
21 has spent 179 weeks on the Billboard 200 chart (24 of those at No. 1), and will likely still be on the list when Adele’s forthcoming studio album arrives (possibly before the end of the year).
