You Belong with me- This is the first thing I thought of when I saw this round. It's a primarily stroy based video plus it has a cute but unfortunately basic storyline

Oklahoma- To be honest, this is the last thing I expected a fellow Ke$hsus Christ to send

Wake Me Up When September Ends-That description
The story is so nice and touching, I really felt sad as the guy went off to war and the pregnant girl was left crying.
It's like what happens after You Belong With Me if the guy signs up for the army

Man Down- First: I miss Rihanna's long beautiful hair
. This is another flawless video this round. It showcases Rihanna's new strength and ferocity she gained after the Chris Brown beating (let's pretend Nobodies Business doesn't exist

This is one of Gwen's best videos
It deals with what happens after love, but Gwen isn't bitter. Probably the biggest strength of this video is that it relies on the lyrics to tell the story, instead of adding extraneous dialogue.

Bad Girl- Madonna has a TON of story videos, and this is not her best
The storyline is deep, plus the ending dark, but if you're going to go with a Madonna video, there are better ones for this challenge.

If I Were A Boy- My 2nd favorite Bey vid. I love the twist role reversal in the end, it makes for such a engaging video

Paparazzi- Tbh this isn't exactly a story vid. It seems to focus more on the dancing and the atmosphere than the storyline

Ride- I don't know what was going on in the video
Plus there was no description. A google search tells me this is about prostitution, but the video relies on its stunning visuals than its story

Ethan - Ugh, bringing me back to my Jr. Yr of high school, thanks Ethan, WHY. I could relate to this so much, and I think a lot of people actually can, the video goes with the song and the story is so present. Good job. - 5
Hugamari - This was so hard to rate, and I don't know what to give you because while it gives a very good story and its so obvious it has one, but like the lyrics are a narrative, its like cheating kind of...but you were so good a finding this.... 4
Jqnetto - Fun fact - every time I listen to this song I start crying so much because when my Grandpa died I played it over and over and over again, so I had to mute it. ANYWAYS. Great story line, I really don't know what to say because it just speaks for itself. The song has many ways someone can relate to, and that whole era of American Idiot catered so well to this. Also Evan Rachel Wood played the lead in one of my favorite movies 13, so that's a plus. I'd give you like a 20000, but I can only give a - 5
Energy - Why does Rihanna like to put a bunch of random beauty shots of her in her music videos
, anyways, that was surprisingly good for a video by her, I didn't think she was one to have stories in them - 4.5
Jolie's Lips - OOOH YES! LOVE THIS - 5
Boyonce - You kind of started going more for the iconicness of that music video instead of the story. The song kind of does and kind of doesn't go with the video as well and I think that's what makes it so weak, but the more you dig at it the more it makes sense. - 4
CoolestPerson12 - This was my favorite entry actually, like the lyrics and the video meshed so well it just hurts - 5

Monkey - The problem I have with this video is that the story gets lost with all the weird stuff she puts into it, like she had a good set-up but she kind of just threw everything she could in there. - 3

A cutesy love story! Hard to not love, honestly. The only issue I've got with this
story is the level of "cliche" it is. The story it tells isn't that unique. Still, good choice!
Hugamari - Oklahoma - 5
Country songs are ALWAYS good picks for story line songs! I'm surprised more people
didn't do country songs, honestly. An unexpected, beautiful highlight. Great entry!
Jqnetto - Wake Me Up When September Ends - 4.5
I remember this video. Such an incredible display of emotion. The topic it covers (war)
is also very unique and beautiful. The story told here is phenomenal. What I don't like about
this is that the song doesn't really relate to the video, but still... amazing entry!
Energy - Man Down - 5
Easily some of Rihanna's best work, and the best part is that the song actually is
mildly applicable to her actual life. A great song and a great story - double whammy!
Jolie's Lips - Cool by Gwen - 4
I don't know any songs that tell a story like this one does. A beautiful story told
Boyonce - Take on Me (A Ha) - 3
A very interesting, conceptual story and enjoyable watch! The story is
but still a good one!
An issue I'd have to be the lack of relativity from song to video, but it's not a big issue.
I can definitely see how it would've been nominated so heavily in its' prime. Great choice!
Coolest Person - Bad Girl (Madonna) - 3.5
Bad stan over here has never seen this video! (I just can't get into pre-RoL Madonna)
The story line here is very intricate and unique, though. I really enjoyed it. Beautiful.
Qwerty - If I Were A Boy - 4
A classic plot perfected by Beyonce
Not the best choice, but a great one nonetheless!
Monkey - Paparazzi - 3
The story here is good enough to make a series off of, clearly - a great plot line
The actual story is only addressed at the beginning and end, however - not all the way through
I do love this video, but the problem is that it's a stretch to make the song apply to this plot.
Medosuxx - Ride by Lana - 3.5
A beautiful story told. Couldn't National Anthem have been substituted here just as easily? Either
way, it's a great story, but it's a little vague. It's so emotionally stunning, though. Great pick.
