And 11 years later, we are still devastated by the event. It will always be a part of American history. But back on topic, I strongly hope she doesn't release it on that date.
I wonder if it will be a good representation of her new sound, or if it's more current Top 40-ish than the rest of the album and is being released to ensure she's welcomed back.
Rihanna has no hit right now & neither does Katy. GaGa ain't around either. Kelly Clarkson isn't doing so hot anymore () and I doubt Avril will be back before the end of the year. Britney doesn't have a single now either.

I think she should avoid releasing it on 9/11 simply because there are people like the one you quoted who are offended by it (which is fine). It'd simply be a business strategy because I can see America getting up in arms over a single titled "Die Young" released on 9/11.
Well, now it sounds more reliable, but I still think we might get the single before September 25th... I mean, in spite of its release date being on September 25th or not, it'll probably leak beforehand.

To be honest, if as a country we cared, we would investigate what happened on that day further. All in all, people passed away as victims of a terrorist attack. It would be inappropriate to release on such a day. I want K$ to smash hard and "Judas" is an indication of what would happen if the single starts out with controversy. Do we know if the album is out this year?
