I know Katy stans love this one, so I've tried many times to get into it—and I just can't. There's an awesome playfulness to the composition, but the lyrics are so mind-numbingly stupid that it kind of ruins the song for me.

Definitely cute and fun, but not much more. It's a great party song, with a fantastic chorus and a flawless sax breakdown—there's a reason it was one of the big anthems of summer 2011—but it's also perfectly disposable. There are plenty of other more innovative, interesting and inspiring songs left, so I'm not sad to see it go at this point.
