I doubt she even will promote it outside of the US, except for maybe India.
I think they're relying on the video and the VMA's as promo for the song. That would explain the early video release.

I think if she does UK X-Factor it will be later in the year, and she'll (hopefully) be on MTN by then.
It does make me mad though about all the lost views. :P
